There’s one coach sitting atop the board as the odds-on favorite to be named the NBA’s Coach of the Year and it’s Oklahoma’s Mark Daigneault,
Daigneault, head coach of the Thunder, has helped his squad to a 46-20 record — currently tied for the best record in the West.
However, Boston’s Joe Mazzulla is surging up the board, moving to +650 from +1100 over the past two weeks.
FOX Sports NBA Analyst Ric Bucher has Mazzulla’s Celtics as the No. 2 team in his most recent power rankings.
Here’s a look at the latest odds for Coach of the Year.
NBA COACH OF THE YEAR ODDS: *
Mark Daigneault, Thunder: -430 (bet $10 to win $12.33 total)

Taking a noticeable tumble down the board was J.B. Bickerstaff, Cleveland’s head coach. The Cavs have lost five of their last nine, and Bickerstaff’s odds to win the award moved to +11000 from +2300 since the beginning of March.
The son of former NBA head coach Bernie Bickerstaff was at +1400 on Feb. 1 and +1000 on Feb. 7.
Another coach whose odds lengthened is Clippers’ head coach Ty Lue. LA has lost three of its last six matchups, and Lue’s Coach of the Year odds shifted to +10000 from +2100.
