With less than a month of regular-season play left, Sacramento Kings guard Malik Monk remains the betting favorite to win the NBA’s Sixth Man of the Year award.
However, a recent injury has made it not as much of a slam dunk for Monk.
Monk is expected to miss the remainder of the regular season after suffering a knee injury that will sideline him for at least four weeks.

Monk has had a tight grasp on the top spot of the Sixth Man of the Year odds since February, but his recent injury has lengthened his odds from -120 to -145.
Let’s look at the recent changes to the Sixth Man of the Year odds at FanDuel Sportsbook.
SIXTH MAN OF THE YEAR ODDS: *
Malik Monk, Kings: -145 (bet $10 to win $16.90 total)

With Monk’s injury bringing an end to his regular season, the Timberwolves’ Reid is making a late push for the award.
Reid is having a career year, averaging 13.1 points per game and playing a vital role in keeping Minnesota in contention for the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference. He’s currently filling in for an injured Karl-Anthony Towns and logging minutes as a starter.
Reid made a big jump up the oddsboard, improving from +700 to +150.
