The English Premier League returned in style this weekend with Joshua Zirkzee netting a late winner for Manchester United against Fulham on Friday night at Old Trafford. There were six fixtures on Saturday with Arne Slot recording a 2-0 win over Ipswich on his Liverpool debut and Arsenal demonstrating their title credentials with a comfortable victory over Wolves.
Since its inception for the maiden 1992-93 season, the Premier League has grown to become the biggest in the world. From Austria to Australia, it brings in more viewers across the globe than any other top-flight league and it’s become home to the best players from every continent. But which Premier League clubs this season have the highest number of nationalities within their first-team squads.
The Premier League clubs with the most nationalities in their squad
Brighton are renowned for their detailed recruitment process that scours the planet with the aim of identifying the best young talent. So it’s no surprise that the Seagulls’ squad comprises the most nationalities in the Premier League with 21 nations represented in their first-team squad – players from six of seven continents feature in Brighton’s squad.

As the graphic above illustrates, Bournemouth rank second with 19 different nationalities in their squad with Wolves taking third spot. Liverpool are the first ‘big six’ club to feature on the list in joint-forth place with Brentford. At the other end of the table, Everton rank bottom with just nine different nationalities in their squad – 12 less than top place Brighton.
