The January transfer window is now little more than a distant memory in European football and as such clubs across the continent are already making plans for the summer window. Teams are working tirelessly behind the scenes on identifying targets and figuring out their budgets.

Everton are on the hunt for a new striker and according to the Sun, the Merseyside club will look to make an audacious bid for Ipswich Town forward Liam Delap. The 22-year-old talent has a release clause of just €35 million, but has also been linked with a move to Manchester United and Chelsea in recent weeks.

Across the city at Liverpool, Everton’s Anfield rivals are also preparing big plans for their summer transfer window. But to sign the players Arne Slot wants, Liverpool may be forced to sell some of their own players first. According to TalkSport, the Premier League giants are prepared to listen to offers for Luis Díaz, who has reportedly garnered plenty of interest from Saudi Arabia.

Similarly, Arsenal’s attempts to bolster their defence next season will also come down to their ability to sell unwanted players in their squad. According to the Mirror, the North London club retain an interest in Ajax star Jorrel Hato, but will need to sell some back-up players, such as Jakub Kiwior, if they hope to match the Dutch club’s asking price.
