The summer transfer window is growing ever closer on the horizon for many of the biggest players in European football and as such clubs across the continent are already making plans for the summer window. Teams are working tirelessly behind the scenes on identifying targets and figuring out their budgets.

Managers will be constantly assessing their squads with sporting directors and recruitment staff scanning the market for potential deals. A plethora of players will become available in the summer where clubs famously have more money to spend and aren’t as restricted by financial fair play rules. The rumour mill is beginning to pick up pace and we’ve collated some of the biggest current transfer stories.

Today’s biggest transfer stories

Erling Haaland is reportedly concerned by the extent of Manchester City’s downfall this season and could try to leave this summer. It’s understood that Haaland has an exit clause in his contract and there’s interest from PSG and Bayern Munich.

Bayer Leverkusen want to sign Jadon Sancho permanently this summer, if Chelsea don’t sign the winger permanently the summer from Manchester United. Sancho has endured an indifferent season on-loan at Stamford Bridge and there’s also reported interest from Galatasaray.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid are interested in re-signing Theo Hernández from AC Milan. The French international departed Madrid six years ago and he’s widely regarded as one of the best left-backs in the world – a problem position for the Spanish giants.
