The summer transfer window is growing ever closer on the horizon for many of the biggest players in European football and as such clubs across the continent are already making plans for the summer window. Teams are working tirelessly behind the scenes on identifying targets and figuring out their budgets.

Managers will be constantly assessing their squads with sporting directors and recruitment staff scanning the market for potential deals. A plethora of players will become available in the summer where clubs famously have more money to spend and aren’t as restricted by financial fair play rules. The rumour mill is beginning to pick up pace and we’ve collated some of the biggest current transfer stories.

Today’s biggest transfer stories

Manchester United have reportedly prioritised the sales of Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Antony this summer. Chelsea have an obligation to buy Sancho but could break the clause, while Rashford and Antony will have interest after impressive loan spells. Valencia are targeting the signature of Jamie Vardy as he prepares to leave Leicester City. The 38-year-old scored his 200th goal for Leicester last weekend in his final game and a move to Spain could appeal to the veteran striker.

Real Madrid have reportedly made Enzo Fernández their priority target with Luka Modric confirming his departure. Madrid announced he will leave Los Blancos on Thursday and the Spanish giants are long-term admirers of Chelsea star Fernandez.
