The summer transfer window is officially open with clubs now able to add new signings to their squad. The biggest clubs in European football and clubs across the continent are already making plans for next season. Teams are working tirelessly behind the scenes on identifying targets and figuring out their budgets.

Managers will be constantly assessing their squads with sporting directors and recruitment staff scanning the market for potential deals. A plethora of players will become available in the summer where clubs famously have more money to spend and aren’t as restricted by financial fair play rules. The rumour mill is beginning to pick up pace and we’ve collated some of the biggest current transfer stories.

Today’s biggest transfer stories

Bayern Munich have submitted a €52 million bid for Luis Diaz, according to Bild. The Bundesliga giants and Barcelona both want the Colombian international this summer but Liverpool are standing firm, so far.

Victor Osimhen’s proposed move to Galatasaray has stalled despite the Turkish side meeting his €75m asking price. Napoli reportedly want financial guarantees that Gala will be able to provide all funds and Osimhen will become the most expensive African player in history.

Chelsea and Arsenal have reportedly agreed a fee around €60m for Noni Madueke to move from West London to North London. Madueke will strengthen Mikel Arteta’s attacking options and provide back-up to Bukayo Saka.
