The summer transfer window is approaching quickly on the horizon and clubs are already busy working on deals to acquire their top targets. For most clubs, planning will already be complete and they will have identified which players they want to sign, and which players they want to sell.

Managers will be constantly assessing their squads with sporting directors and recruitment staff scanning the market for potential deals this summer. The rumour mill is still gathering pace and we’ve collated some of the biggest current transfer stories – you can access the full rumour mill below.

José Mourinho reportedly wants to reunite with Marcus Rashford at Real Madrid. Barcelona have an option to sign the Manchester United attacker permanently for €30 million but they’ve yet to activate it and Mourinho is a huge admirer of Rashford from their time together at Old Trafford.

Liverpool are weighing up a move for Denzel Dumfries this summer. Inter Milan will consider selling the Netherlands international for the right price and Liverpool’s problems at right-back have been well documented this season.

Aston Villa and Everton are interested in William Osula. The 22-year-old has been Eddie Howe’s preferred number nine at Newcastle United in recent months and it’s highly unlikely that he will be sold.
