Today’s biggest transfer stories
Manchester United are keen on signing Real Madrid midfielder Aurélien Tchouaméni this summer after missing out on Mateus Fernandes. However, Madrid are reluctant to sell Tchouaméni as Jose Mourinho sees him as an important part of his team next season. Bournemouth’s Alex Scott, 22, remains high on their shortlist if they cannot sign the France international.
Liverpool are reportedly considering a summer departure for Virgil van Dijk after the World Cup. The 34-year-old renewed his contract last year, which expires in June 2027, but there are thought to be some regret over extending his contract. Van Dijk, 34, has been linked with Saudi Arabian clubs in the past.
Arsenal winger Leandro Trossard is on the verge of completing a permanent move to Beşiktaş, per reports in Turkey. The 31-year-old is close to agreeing personal terms with the Super Lig outfit, with a deal worth €20 million advancing to the final stages.
