Today’s biggest transfer stories

Marcus Rashford could return to Manchester United next season as it remains unclear whether Barcelona will sign him on a permanent deal. The Spanish giants have a €30m buy-option for the 28-year-old but it’s unclear whether they view the fee, and his substantial wages, as financially viable.

Arsenal remain keen on signing Leon Goretzka on a free contract in the summer, but they face competition from AC Milan. The 31-year-old has confirmed he will depart Bayern Munich and several clubs will battle for his signature.

Liverpool will face serious competition from Barcelona for Alessandro Bastoni. The 26-year-old has previously been unwilling to leave Inter Milan but there’s a feeling that he could embrace a new opportunity this summer.
