Reigning champions Manchester City had the biggest downgrade with their overall squad value dropping by €71m with Kevin de Bruyne, Jack Grealish and Phil Foden receiving significant downgrades. Conversely, Chelsea’s squad had the biggest upgrade (€53.5m) due to their impressive form under Enzo Maresca with the Stamford Bridge side firmly in the title race. Cole Palmer had the biggest market value upgrade of any Premier League star but which other players were rewarded handsomely for their form? Let’s find out!

The biggest winners from Premier League market value update

Palmer enjoyed an incredible breakthrough last season but that form has continued with the England international the driving force behind Chelsea’s success under Maresca. The 22-year-old has provided 17 goal contributions in 18 league games this season and he’s been completely rested in the Europa Conference League. Palmer’s valuation has increased from €90m to €130m and incredibly he started 2024 at just €45m.

Arsenal starlet Ethan Nwaneri and Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers both received €18m upgrades – Nwaneri sits higher in the graphic above as Transfermarkt ranks players with the same value based on age. Southampton have endured a miserable return to the Premier League but Tyler Dibling has emerged as a star of the future with the winger, compared stylistically to Grealish, going up by €17m. Ryan Gravenberch and Nicolas Jackson have been two of the best players in the league this season, with both rewarded with €15m upgrades. Meanwhile, seven players received €10m upgrades including Ipswich’s Liam Delap, Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka and Nottingham Forest defender Murillo.
