There’s only a few days left of the January transfer window with clubs across Europe looking to get deals over the line to enhance their squads for the second half of the season. Teams are working tirelessly behind the scenes on identifying targets to sign or loan.

Marcus Rashford is closing in on a loan move to Aston Villa. The Manchester United’s attacker has been one of the biggest talking points in January and he’s been linked with several European clubs. But it appears that he will join Villa with a buy-obligation included and he’s reportedly already said goodbye to staff at his boyhood club.

But one player could be moving in the opposite direction with United interested in Leon Bailey, according to the Athletic. Ruben Amorim wants to replace Rashford with Bayern Munich’s  Mathys Tel the primary target but Bailey could be an alternative. West Ham are closing in on deal to sign Evan Ferguson on-loan until the end of the season but there will be no buy-option included.

Galatasaray are interested in Newcastle full-back Kieran Trippier and the Turkish giants could make their move on deadline day. Meanwhile, Barcelona are keen on signing Newcastle midfielder Bruno Guimaraes but any potential deal wouldn’t take place until the summer.
