The summer transfer window is officially open with clubs now able to add new signings to their squad. The biggest clubs in European football and clubs across the continent are already making plans for next season. Teams are working tirelessly behind the scenes on identifying targets and figuring out their budgets.
Managers will be constantly assessing their squads with sporting directors and recruitment staff scanning the market for potential deals. A plethora of players will become available in the summer where clubs famously have more money to spend and aren’t as restricted by financial fair play rules. The rumour mill is beginning to pick up pace and we’ve collated some of the biggest current transfer stories.

Athletic Club are prepared to block Barcelona’s move for Nico Williams this summer. The Basque club have reportedly met with LaLiga officials to question Barca’s financial status and their ability to register Williams. The Spanish international has a release clause in his contract that Barca are expected to activate this summer.
Arsenal and Tottenham will reportedly battle it out to sign Crystal Palace star man Eberechi Eze. The England international has a €75 million release clause in his contract and that could tempt several clubs with the North London rivals leading the race.
Endrick is set to remain at Real Madrid next season despite talk of a potential loan move. The Brazilian struggled for minutes after joining the Spanish giants but Xabi Alonso wants to utilise the striker next season. Speaking after their Club World Cup win over Salzburg, Alonso said: “Endrick is definitely in my plans. I want him back with us as soon as possible”.
