Who has been the most outstanding player of the 2023/24 season in the Premier League? As is now the tradition, Transfermarkt will present the division’s MVP award to the player who obtains the most votes from our users. Last year, the Premier League winner was Manchester City’s Erling Haaland, who was prolific in his debut season in England, as he broke the division’s goal record, scoring 36 times on the way to the Sky Blues winning the title. His team-mate Kevin De Bruyne won the award in 2022, with Harry Kane, then of Tottenham, victorious in 2021. De Bruyne is the only player to have won the Premier League player of the season more than once.

Will Haaland be able to repeat the award or will it go to one of the other stars from this season such as Phil Foden, Declan Rice or Ollie Watkins? Could Cole Palmer win the MVP or will the fans opt for Alexander Isak? Make sure to have your say.

How the voting works for the Premier League ‘Player of the Season’

The Transfermarkt UK community has made a pre-selection of six candidates per position (goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders and forwards) from which one must be chosen per position. Next, from the four players chosen, we will decide who is the best player of the season in Premier League. You have until May 20 to make your vote!

Vote for Transfermarkt player of the season in other leagues

In addition, if you are an international football lover you can also participate in voting for other competitions, such as the Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1, La Liga and many more: there are 19 leagues to choose from in total.
