The summer transfer window is growing ever closer on the horizon for many of the biggest players in European football and as such clubs across the continent are already making plans for the summer window. Teams are working tirelessly behind the scenes on identifying targets and figuring out their budgets.

Managers will be constantly assessing their squads with sporting directors and recruitment staff scanning the market for potential deals. A plethora of players will become available in the summer where clubs famously have more money to spend and aren’t as restricted by financial fair play rules. The rumour mill is beginning to pick up pace and we’ve collated some of the biggest current transfer stories.

Today’s biggest transfer stories

Real Madrid are the favourites to sign Dean Huijsen this summer. The Bournemouth star has a release clause in his contract and a host of top European clubs are willing to activate it. Liverpool and Arsenal are keen but it’s understood that Huijsen prefers a move to Madrid.

Manchester United are leading the race to sign Liam Delap. The Ipswich Town striker will depart in the summer as he has a €35 million release clause this summer. Man United want a new striker this summer and Delap reportedly has no reservations about moving to Old Trafford despite their struggles.

Fenerbahce are reportedly considering a sensational move for Victor Osimhen this summer. Osimhen is currently at Fenerbahce’s main rivals Galatasaray but will likely return to Napoli this summer. Despite the links to Jose Mourinho’s men, it’s almost impossible for Osimhen to join Fenerbahce this summer.
