The summer transfer window is officially open with clubs now able to add new signings to their squad. The biggest clubs in European football and clubs across the continent are already making plans for next season. Teams are working tirelessly behind the scenes on identifying targets and figuring out their budgets.
Managers will be constantly assessing their squads with sporting directors and recruitment staff scanning the market for potential deals. A plethora of players will become available in the summer where clubs famously have more money to spend and aren’t as restricted by financial fair play rules. Reports suggest Manchester United have entered the race for Paris St-Germain and France forward Randal Kolo Muani, who is a top target for Juventus, having spent the season on loan with the Italian giants last term.
Brazilian winger Rodrygo is reportedly top of the sales list at Real Madrid this summer, with new manager Xabi Alonso ready to cash in on the 24-year-old, with Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham all interested.
Aston Villa are set to rival AC Milan and Newcastle for England striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin, 28, who is a free agent after leaving Everton at the end of his contract.
